I’m Give a Grad a Go’s Digital Marketing Executive. Working mainly within the Marketing Team, I handle our student and graduate marketing, as well as ensuring our job postings attract a wide range of candidates.
My area of expertise
My role at Give a Grad a Go is extremely varied! I work within the candidate-orientated part of the Marketing Team, focusing mainly on our job advertisment performance and SEO strategy. I also work to produce copywriting for our webpages and social media, run our email campaigns and much more!
Why I chose to work at Give a Grad a Go
Whilst applying to graduate jobs, I was running my own blogging website – which centred around graduate career journeys – on the side. So, when I saw the role at Give a Grad a Go pop up online, it seemed perfect! During the interview process, it became very clear that there is a great team culture at Give a Grad a Go, made up of people who genuinely care about your development, which is such a rare thing to find – so it was a no brainer!
The worst job I’ve had
I am quite lucky in that I haven’t had any ‘bad’ jobs, but I’ve definitely had jobs with bad moments. My first ever job was working for a catering company as front of house at weddings. Unsurprisingly, this meant having to deal with a lot of extremely intoxicated wedding guests – not fun!
