I’m a Key Account Manager at Give a Grad a Go, so my role involves matching talented candidates with exciting companies looking to hire graduates.

My area of expertise

My client portfolio predominantly consists of exciting Tech Startups and Marketing, Advertising & Communications Agencies. However, within these businesses, I enjoy recruiting graduates across a wide range of roles, from Sales to Analysis. I also manage some of our larger global enterprise clients in Technology and FMCG – a real mixture!

Why I chose to work at Give a Grad a Go

I always knew I wanted to jump straight into a career after graduating from university. I began seeking Sales and Business Development opportunities, mainly in tech, as I wanted to work in a very fast-paced and rewarding environment. After uploading my CV to the Give a Grad a Go website, and exploring the graduate jobs available, I was offered a business development position for a tech company. However, after coming into the vibrant GAGAGO office, meeting the team, and exploring recruitment in more depth, I quickly realised that managing client and graduate relationships, as well as my own end-to-end projects, was actually the perfect fit for me.

The worst job I’ve had

I have been lucky enough to never have had a bad job! Despite working as a horse riding instructor at an equestrian centre for over three years, which involved lots of intense manual labour in all weather conditions, I really enjoyed it and it taught me most of the skills I’ll use throughout my career.
