I’m Give a Grad a Go’s Junior Digital Marketing Assistant. Working mainly within the Marketing Team, I handle our student and graduate marketing as well as ensuring our job postings attract a wide range of candidates.
My area of expertise
My area of expertise as Junior Digital Marketing Assistant is largely orientated around writing blog posts and copy, as well as social media management. I am eager to develop my experience in SEO and take a more hands on approach in some analytical tasks within the marketing team!
Why I chose to work at Give a Grad a Go
Whilst applying to graduate jobs, I was running my own blogging website – which centred around graduate career journeys – on the side. When I saw the role at Give a Grad a Go pop up online, it seemed perfect! During the interview process, it became very clear that there is a great team culture at Give a Grad a Go, made up of people who genuinely care about your development, which is such a rare thing to find – so it was a no brainer!
The worst job I’ve had
I am quite lucky in that I haven’t had any ‘bad’ jobs, but I’ve definitely had jobs with bad moments. My first ever job was working for a catering company as front of house at weddings. Unsurprisingly, this meant having to deal with a lot of extremely intoxicated wedding guests – not fun!
