I’m Give a Grad a Go’s Office Executive. I work with the Leadership Team in supporting all sales and operations functions while helping with day-to-day back-office business operations.

My area of expertise

As Office Executive at Give a Grad a Go, I primarily focus on the admin of the office. This ranges from incoming inquiries, putting together outreach campaigns to grow the business, running the day-to-day of the office, ordering, and loads of spreadsheets on just about everything. It’s my job to make sure that the managers and directors have what they need in order to do their job, the best they can. My role can change day to day, but I like that I get to help out where I am needed. Whether that’s helping the Sales Team, the Operations Team, or the Marketing Team, I’ve got my fingers in a lot of pies.

Why I chose to work at Give a Grad a Go

I chose to work here because out of all of the companies I interviewed for and looked into when on my job search, this was the one that made me feel the most comfortable and appreciated for my skill set. I was looking for a company that really cared about its employees and valued them and their work. I also wanted somewhere that I could work every day and know that I was being noticed for my effort, as well as being surrounded by other hard-working individuals. All of those boxes, and more, were ticked when I came across Give a Grad a Go and I am so glad I made the decision I did.

The worst job I’ve had

I can’t really say that I’ve ever had a bad job that I could categorize as my worst. I mean, I definitely haven’t enjoyed my time everywhere I’ve worked and I certainly wouldn’t want to go back to a couple of them, but I prefer to think that every job I’ve done has led me to where I am today. Every experience has given me transferable skills that I have either applied to my current role or to my life in general. I am happy where I am right now, so no regrets I guess.
