I’m an Account Manager at Give a Grad a Go, so my role involves matching talented candidates with exciting companies looking to hire graduates in the UK and across the globe.

My area of expertise

I work with our wider team on a variety of roles. I love that at Give a Grad a Go, I can work within a team and speak to a wide range of candidates on a daily basis. I really enjoy getting to know candidates, helping them with their job search and finding them their dream career!

Why I chose to work at Give a Grad a Go

From the start, I always knew that I wanted to work in a people-focused role, and initially applied for other opportunities through the Give a Grad a Go website. Having great conversations with both Izzy and Phoebe, I was very excited when an opportunity at the company came up. I knew that the fast-paced, fun and friendly environment at Give a Grad a Go would be a perfect fit for me.

The worst job I’ve had

Although I have mostly enjoyed all my old roles, my previous job was my least favourite! The team and company were amazing, but I spent most of my day on Excel working on formulas and reports. I missed working in a people-facing role that I had loved throughout my four years of retail experience and don’t think I can face Excel formulas again!
