Mock interview questions for students with Give a Grad a Go 📝

CVs and interviews and arguably the most integral parts of the job application process.

Your CV is the very first communication with a potential employer, it’s a key element in being shortlisted and it’s your chance to impress.

On the other hand, the job interview is all about securing an opportunity and proving you are the right person for the job.

It can also help you to decide if the role and company are right for you.

Mastering these key elements of the job application process can be difficult, which is why this February we partnered with Pearson College London to deliver mock interviews online and a CV Clinic for our students.

About the session with Pearson College

As part of Work Fitness Week at Pearson College London, the CV and mock interview for students session aimed to prepare our students for real job applications.

We invited recruitment specialists and hiring managers to share their expertise.

Each student had a 30-minute, 1-2-1 slot with an employer where they got to practice mock interview questions and answers in a friendly and supportive environment for some mock interview practice online.

The mock interview practice also gave the students immediate feedback on how to strengthen their communication skills and prepare responses to common mock interview questions.

They also had the chance to gain some top tips on brushing up on their CVs.
