In this Office Assistant/Front of House role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and suppliers. Working closely with the Office and Event Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the office operates efficiently while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.

They are now looking for a graduate Office Assistant to support the smooth running of the office, provide an exceptional front-of-house experience and contribute to a variety of office, event and administrative projects.
 
Key Responsibilities - Office Assistant
In this Office Assistant job, your responsibilities will include:
  • Greeting visitors and clients, ensuring their first impression of the business is a positive one
  • Managing the reception area and maintaining a welcoming, professional and presentable office environment at all times
  • Answering incoming calls, responding to enquiries and directing communications appropriately
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring meeting spaces are prepared for internal and external meetings
  • Providing administrative support to the Office and Event Manager across a range of projects and activities
  • Assisting with supplier management, deliveries and office maintenance requests
  • Supporting the planning, organisation and delivery of internal and external events
  • Helping with event logistics, guest management and on-the-day event coordination
  • Updating calendars, scheduling meetings and managing diary requests
  • Assisting with the organisation and setup of staff training days, workshops and company activities
  • Ordering office supplies and monitoring stock levels to ensure the office is fully equipped
  • Supporting employee onboarding by helping prepare workspaces and coordinating new starter requirements
  • Conducting research for events, suppliers and business initiatives as required
  • Maintaining accurate records, databases and internal documentation
  • Assisting with health and safety checks and ensuring office policies are followed
  • Providing general administrative support and carrying out ad hoc duties as required
Job Requirements - Office Assistant
  • A 2:1 degree from university
  • An interest in the creative, design or workplace sector
  • Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • A proactive, positive and professional approach to work
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
  • Confidence interacting with clients, visitors and senior stakeholders
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail or a client-facing environment is beneficial
  • Passionate about providing a high-quality service and experience for clients and visitors
  • A team player with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
