In 2019, we placed talented graduates at 242 different businesses; ranging from startups in their earliest stages, to larger multinationals.

With 157 new clients, we helped several new businesses scale up and hire exceptional graduates. Plus, we continued to help our existing clients build their teams – retaining 74% repeat business.

Launching over 600 graduate careers, we placed candidates across 15 different sectors. We also saw a surge in placements within tech industries; including SaaS, data, AI, cyber security, FinTech, PropTech, MedTech, and EdTech.

What we’ve achieved with our clients in 2019

It has been a great year for Give A Grad a Go, successfully placing graduates in 77% of the roles we posted, our candidates maintained a probation pass rate of 96%. Gender split also remained at 48% female and 52% male.

For every placement we made, there were an average of 9 CVs shortlisted, 5 engagements from clients, and 7 interviews arranged in order to find the perfect candidate.

As well as helping almost 250 businesses hire 600+ graduates, we are also proud of our company achievements in 2019:

  • Now with over 30 Give A Grad A Go Team Members, each of our internal teams – Recruitment, Operations, Marketing & Business Development – has grown individually in 2019.
  • We were very proud to sponsor The Lloyd’s Bank National Business Awards. Held on 10th November, the awards celebrated the very best in British business, including our award for Employer of the Year, which was won by Weston College.
  • Already proud winners of many awards over the years, as displayed in our Awards Archive, we also made the finals of both the NORA awards and the IRP awards; for Best Small Recruitment Agency, and Best Company To Work For (up to 50 employees).
  • Free for all clients; candidates will now receive access to career advice from Careercake for the first year of their career, in our new Employee Development Partnership.
  • We are now also sponsoring Capture Happiness, a non-profit community built to raise awarness about mental health.
