Graduate recruitment analysis: Q1 2018 statistics 📈

Copied to clipboard

Quarter 1 (Q1) isn’t typically the busiest in the graduate recruitment sector – but looking at our statistics would indicate that it’s set the year off to a flying start!

We clocked up some impressive numbers in Q1, launching 125 new graduate careers in a variety of sectors and at businesses ranging from startups and SMEs to global corporations – being able to help a number of these startups to grow was a particular highlight.

One of our personal highlights of the quarter was welcoming 4 new members on board.

Jack, Joe, Alex and Cameron have joined our team of Graduate Resourcers, are settling in well and already doing some fantastic work.

Across the board, gender representation continued to defy industry standards, as traditionally male-dominated sectors like IT & Tech and Banking & Finance showed us some encouraging results.

In two sectors often criticised for their absence of females, our gender representation was 58% male and 42% female, a gap that is continuing to narrow with every quarter.

The overall statistics for Q1 were impressive, as our probation pass rate, the average time to fill and conversion rate all stayed exactly the same as last year – at 94%, 17 working days, and 76% respectively.

Having arranged a remarkable 835 interviews already, it’s clear that our team have been putting in the work – and seeing the results.
