5 reasons we’re thankful for Claire Donaldson!

Claire Donaldson started her career at Give A Grad A Go 5 years ago, as a Candidate Resourcer to our Sales Manager, Ben (who quotes her as the best Resourcer he’s ever had!)

5 years on, she’s excelled in every role she’s had; as she’s moved from Candidate Resourcer, to Senior Resourcer, to Graduate Recruitment Consultant, to Team Leader.

In May 2019, Claire moved over into the operations team as our new Head of People Operations – looking after our HR processes, developing our Resourcing team, and ensuring that all teams are working seamlessly together.

Here’s 5 reasons we’re thankful for Claire!

1. She’s trained 25 Candidate Resourcers & Recruitment Consultants

Over the course of the last 5 years, Claire’s worked closely with both the Resourcing and Consulting teams; helping both Candidate Resourcers and Graduate Recruitment Consultants develop the skills they need to succeed in recruitment, and take the next steps in their career.

 

2. She’s helped 339 graduates find a job they love

In her time as a Recruitment Consultant, Claire has helped well over 300 candidates find graduate jobs at a wide range of companies; from exciting tech startups, to huge global businesses (including one of the world’s largest technology companies!)

 

3. She’s simplified graduate recruitment processes for 75 businesses

Helping 75 companies hire top graduates is no mean feat – but Claire’s done so time and time again for many fantastic businesses over the years.

She’s enabled companies of all shapes and sizes to recruit exceptional graduates, many of whom have gone on to manage teams and sometimes even become the point of contact for hiring themselves!

 

4. She’s always been a big help to the team

As well as billing big numbers, Claire has always been a huge help to every member of the team.

Whether she’s acting as a sounding board for individual concerns, or offering her first-class recruitment expertise, Claire’s helped out each and every member of the Give A Grad A Go team in one way or another!

 

5. She’s revamped our HR processes

Since moving over to the operations team in May 2019, Claire’s used her people skills in a different capacity; helping to better our HR processes, and professionally develop several members of the team.
