In this graduate PR Associate job in Central London, you will be joining a leading independent Corporate and Financial PR consultancy. As a team of 25 (and growing), we offer clients senior-led teams that bring strategic communications from sector experts, former journalists, in-house PR/ IR directors and corporate communication specialists.

The team is made of entrepreneurs that have founded highly successful PR businesses themselves. Their clients range from global FTSE 100/250 businesses to fast-growing young disruptive businesses.

Job description - PR Associate

Our client is looking for a full-time PR Associate to join their expanding corporate and financial PR teams across a variety of different sectors. The candidate will work with their senior teams on all aspects of client management and delivery, including drafting press releases and contributing articles, as well as liaising with and pitching stories to specialist journalists and publications in the UK and Europe.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to establish themselves in a leading independent Corporate and Financial PR consultancy and, based on performance, take on increasing responsibility for client management.

Key responsibilities - PR Associate

In this PR Associate job, your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting research for client projects
  • Writing succinct, on-message content in the form of press releases, client emails, by-lines, blogs, and social media posts
  • Monitoring media coverage and social media channels to keep an eye on current trends within your clients' specialism
  • Building strong relationships with clients and media, maintaining client evaluation documents, and managing team diaries
  • Conducting research and analysis to support client activity and making further recommendations based on key insights
  • You'll be incredibly organised and efficient, willing to jump into new challenges to continue to help the company grow
  • You'll be a logical thinker, able to resolve problems quickly and independently for our clients
  • Contributing to and taking part in new business pitches, research projects, and marketing activities
Job requirements - PR Associate
  • 2.1 or above from university
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of corporate social media, photoshop and website CMS management and analytics would be advantageous
  • Interest in the real estate, new energy, mining, technology and telecommunications sectors
  • Able to work well with clients
  • Strong organisational skills
