Job description - PR Account Executive
In this PR Executive job, you will be working closely with a number of client accounts. You will work on all aspects of client management and delivery, including drafting press releases and contributing articles, as well as liaising with and pitching stories to specialist journalists and publications. There are also social media opportunities in this role.

Key responsibilities - PR Account Executive
In this PR Executive job, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and support client meetings, events and announcement days, ensuring all logistics, materials and timelines are effectively managed.
- Prepare high-quality client materials, including agendas, briefing notes, reports, press releases, Q&As, media reviews and communications plans.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail through accurate proofreading, editing and document management.
- Build strong knowledge of clients, their industries and market developments, proactively sharing relevant insights and media coverage.
- Conduct thorough research to support client activity, media engagement and new business opportunities.
- Organise media activity, including press briefings, media lists, journalist engagement, media monitoring and coverage distribution.
- Develop an understanding of financial markets, PLC reporting requirements, analyst research and share price movements.
- Contribute to new business development through sector research, brainstorming and pitch preparation.
- Take ownership of administrative processes and key account documentation, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Work collaboratively across all teams, using initiative, and building positive relationships
- A 2.1 from a good university
- A high achiever with solid academics from GCSE through to degree
- Experience or internships in PR or corporate environments is advantageous
- Interest in the media, business, and finance
- Good business acumen with the ability to grasp complex business concepts quickly
- Social and online media knowledge
- Strong analytical and administrative capabilities
- Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Very high standards of organisation and attention to detail
- An instinctive awareness of when to refer to others, showing good judgement
- An enthusiastic and proactive disposition
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- A fantastic starting salary of £29,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
