Key Responsibilities - Customer Service Representative (Guildford)
- Prioritise and process customer orders and requests.
- Liaise with our warehousing and logistics partners to ensure prompt delivery.
- Communicate with customers and keep them informed about their orders.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints promptly and patiently. This may involve assistance to customers who may have received their orders late, have received the wrong order or have received faulty/incorrect products.
- Maintain thorough and accurate customer service records.
- Maintain and confidently use databases and mailing lists.
- Keep confidential records and financial information private and secure.
- Confidently use CRM/ERP (Netsuite) systems and technology to deliver great customer care.
- Work as part of the sales team to drive positive company sales results.
- Check product availability for customer orders and work with the Logistics Team to restock items.
- Communicate with customers about their orders, including any delays or changes in delivery.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support at all times.
- Prepare, pack and ship product samples and non-standard orders.
- A 2:1 bachelor's degree.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Strong IT skills and curious towards learning to use new software's.
- Proficiency in office packages (MS / Google / other), ERP and CRM software's.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent phone manners and well-spoken.
- Good listening skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- 30 - 45-minute commute to the Guildford area (5 days a week in office).
