Job description - Graduate Trading Assistant
As a Graduate Trade Assistant, you will support daily operational processes across onboarding, payments, settlements, and client coordination. You'll assist with documentation, liaise with internal teams, and communicate directly with clients to ensure transactions are handled efficiently.
Full training will be provided, giving you exposure to fintech operations, compliance processes, and international payments. This role is based in Central London on a hybrid working model.
Key responsibilities - Graduate Trading Assistant
- Assisting with client onboarding and ensuring the required documentation is completed accurately.
- Setting up payments, updating beneficiaries, and verifying key details.
- Requesting invoices and supporting documents needed for settlements.
- Handling client queries and managing the main phone line.
- Retrieving client statements when required.
- Coordinating with compliance to share outstanding settlement information.
- Following up on pending trades and supporting settlement processes.
- Supporting internal teams with daily operational tasks and ad hoc projects.
- Degree preferred but not essential; Finance or Business disciplines are an advantage.
- Experience in financial services, trade support, or client operations is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Confident communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with financial systems is helpful.
- Competitive starting salary of £30,000 - £34,000
