Key responsibilities - Software Engineer
In this Software Engineer job in London, your responsibilities will include:
Development & automation with .NET
- Assist in maintaining or enhancing internal ASP.NET apps.
- Create User Interfaces in HTML/NET.
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshooting Windows OS, Office 365, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
- Configuring and deploying new machines, patching systems, and managing inventory.
- Managing user accounts via Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Supporting end-user applications and escalating issues when needed.
Job requirements - Software Engineer
- A degree in Computer Science
- 2–4 years of desktop or technical support experience.
- Clear evidence of coding and development skills through work or projects
- C# or ASP.Net knowledge is beneficial but not essential
- Proficient with Windows 10/11, Office 365, and remote support tools.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Familiarity with PowerShell and automation scripting.
- Good to have SQL knowledge.
- Knowledge of programming concepts.
- A competitive starting salary of £30,000 - £38,000.
