Job description - Software Development Apprenticeship
As part of this Software Development Apprenticeship, you'll get hands-on experience working on real-world software projects while gaining a recognised qualification through an external training provider. From writing code to testing and deploying applications, you'll work alongside experienced developers and be supported throughout your learning journey.
 
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-performing team, learning modern programming languages and development frameworks in a real business environment.

Key responsibilities - Software Development Apprentice
In this Software Development Apprenticeship in London, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the development of internal tools and customer-facing applications.
  • Writing, testing, and maintaining clean and efficient code.
  • Learning and applying programming languages and frameworks.
  • Troubleshooting software issues and helping to identify technical solutions.
  • Participating in team stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
  • Collaborating with developers, product managers, and business teams.
  • Conducting research to support projects and improve functionality.
  • Continuously improving your technical knowledge and coding skills.
 
Job requirements - Software Development School Leaver Apprenticeship
  • A-Levels or equivalent, with GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
  • A genuine interest in coding and software development.
  • Some experience of programming (e.g. through personal projects, online courses, or schoolwork).
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to learn.
  • Logical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for quality.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
