Job description – Securities Analyst
In this Securities Analyst position, you will be supporting the wider Repo and Securities Lending Operations department with traditional middle and back-office functionality, from settlements and collateral management to fees/billing and reconciliations.  
 
Key responsibilities – Finance Operations Analyst 
In this Securities Analyst role, you will be: 

• Monitoring and operating end-to-end securities financing, including (but not limited to) downloading reports from applications such as Business Objects, and overseeing manual custodial transfers between the firm and other third parties.
• Perform daily reconciliation of collateral reports.  
• Assisting in the administration of repo and securities lending transactions under the guidance of senior team members.  
• Calculating, agreeing, and processing payments pertaining to the repo settlement activity of the business. 
• Ensuring all trades are settled in accordance with timelines.  
• Updating Global One static for FX rate and securities pricing using Bloomberg Requests to ensure accurate static maintenance for further Repo Securities Lending Operations activities.  

 
Job requirements – Securities Analyst 
For this Graduate Finance Analyst role, you will need: 

• A minimum of a 2:1 from a top university, ideally in Economics, Finance, or a related subject. 
• An analytical approach and a problem-solving attitude. 
• Knowledge of securities and lending is a bonus.  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage deadlines. 
• Ability to adapt to difficult workload demands, e.g., time/resource constraints.
