Job description - FMCG Sales Executive
We're looking for a driven, personable and ambitious Sales and Activation Executive to help build relationships, grow brand awareness, and drive sales across both on-trade and off-trade channels. You'll act as a brand ambassador: nurturing key accounts, supporting new business opportunities, and helping to bring this dynamic brand to life through events, activations, and tastings.
Please note, this is an in-person sales role - you will be visiting clients face-to-face, and when not at meetings, work will be done from home.
Key responsibilities - Graduate Sales Executive
In this Business Development Executive role, you will be:
- Managing and growing relationships with key trade partners across pubs, bars, restaurants, and retail outlets
- Securing new business opportunities and expanding distribution across the UK
- Acting as a passionate brand ambassador, delivering engaging tastings, activations, and training sessions to drive awareness and loyalty
- Reporting on performance metrics, including revenue, order frequency, and customer engagement
- Collaborating with the wider team to shape commercial strategy and identify opportunities for growth
- Representing the brand at trade shows, festivals, and other events
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism, organisation, and creativity in everything you do
- Please note, this is an in-person sales role - you will be visiting clients face-to-face, and when not at meetings, work will be done from home. There will be occasional evening/weekend work for events in this job (time given back in lieu)
- Ideally, proven experience in sales, account management, or field activation (preferably within drinks, FMCG, or hospitality)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be confident speaking to customers, buyers, and business owners
- Organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritise effectively
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Tech-savvy and confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- A genuine passion for craft beer, sustainability, and consumer brands
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events. Time will be given back in lieu and they offer a flexible schedule
- Ideally, a full UK driving licence
- Competitive starting salary of £27,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
