Job description - Food Technology Sales Development Representative
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be responsible for building their network of kitchen operators. The role is based in London, and you will have the opportunity to call and visit prospective kitchen partners around the country. Along the way, you will meet and work with some incredible restaurateurs and entrepreneurs, helping them boost their revenues and profits. This is a junior sales position, where you will be guided through rigorous training and will be provided with hands-on support.
Key responsibilities - Graduate Sales Executive
In this Sales Development Representative role, you will be:
- Generate business opportunities by calling and visiting restaurants in and out of London
- Carry out meetings with leading restaurants virtually, at their sites and at company sites
- Explain their concept to restaurants, leading conversations all the way to closing deals
- Help the business build a scalable sales organisation
- Securing new business opportunities and expanding across the UK
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism, organisation, and creativity in everything you do
Job requirements - Sales Development Executive
In this Sales Development Representative role, we are looking for:
- A university degree in any subject
- Some people/client-facing work experience through placement, internship, or a full/part-time job
- Desire to get involved in dynamic startups, deal with curve balls, learn and build a career in sales
- Passion for the food sector and technology
- A clear communicator with the client at the forefront of their mind
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be confident in building relationships with prospective clients.
- Organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritise effectively
- Competitive base salary of £30,000 - £32,000 (DOE) + OTE of £40,000 - £45,000
