Job responsibilities - Sales Administration Assistant
Your role will be to help organise, maintain and develop our client relationships. We work with some great businesses and brands across the world. Projects cover everything from simple asset management to the latest developments in smart clothing, exclusive music content, circular economy, anti-counterfeit protection and more.
This isn't a 'hard sales' role at all. Your task is simply to help and advise our customers to make sure we provide what they need.
You will need to be able to multitask, as we can have a lot of jobs running at the same time. Sometimes it's simple order processing, but you will also need to be proactive and reach out to our customers, ensuring they are happy and have what they need from us.
Working with our sales manager, you will have daily plans and weekly projects. You will work on the phone, email, Teams/Zoom/etc. You need to be friendly, confident and professional. We've got great customers, and they are easy to work with.
You don’t need to have completed a technical degree; however, this is a technical product, and you need to be bright and willing enough to learn.
What you will do - Sales Administrator
- Process and manage sales orders and samples, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the system
- Deliver outstanding, personal customer experience to our existing and regular customers
- Follow up on all potential leads via email or phone and Teams/Zoom/etc
- Answer the office phone and manage the general inbox
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate information
- Work closely with our purchasing team
Note: this role does not require cold calling, hard sales or hassling our customers. The role is to thoroughly understand the product and what we do, and work with our customers to make sure that they get the best solution.
What we're looking for - Sales Administrator
- Proven experience in sales administration, customer service, or a similar administrative role.
- Superb organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Confident and professional phone manner
- Organise your day / self-motivated and highly organised
- Enjoys working closely in a small team
- Can work with minimal supervision
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A graduate with a 2.1 or higher
- Has previous work experience of at least 1 year
