Job description - Sales & Commercial Graduate Programme
This sales-focused graduate programme offers a deep dive into commercial operations, marketing, and B2B sales. You'll rotate through departments like specification sales, smart tech, and product development—building a toolkit for success in premium markets.
 
From the outset, you'll join client meetings, create sales proposals, and contribute to high-impact campaigns. In the final six months, you'll take ownership of a focus area or sales territory with ongoing mentoring and support.
The role is based in Woking, Surrey. 
 
Key responsibilities - Graduate Commercial Executive
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting sales teams with pricing, quotations, proposals, and order fulfilment.
  • Attending meetings with architects, consultants, and developers.
  • Learning how to specify products in early design phases and track project pipelines.
  • Contributing to product development with the Innovation and Engineering teams.
  • Assisting with marketing campaigns, product literature, and brand strategy.
  • Participating in CPDs, client site visits, and showroom training.
  • Developing your own client relationships and new business pipeline.
  • Presenting commercial strategies and tracking performance metrics.
  • Becoming an ambassador for a design-led, customer-first sales culture.
 
Job requirements - Graduate Sales Executive
  • A hardworking & driven graduate. All degrees are welcome, but studies in Business, Design, or Engineering are of particular interest.
  • Commercial experience in sales, business development, or other professional role is highly beneficial.
  • A clear drive to pursue a long-term career in sales - while you'll rotate departments in your first 18-months, this is a scheme to train you for the sales team, and you'll be ingrained in sales from day 1.
  • A strong communicator with natural relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially minded and confident in customer-facing situations.
  • Passionate about design, technology, or the built environment.
  • Curious, proactive, and comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
  • Organised, adaptable, and excited to take ownership from day one.
  • You must be easily commutable to the office in Woking Surrey (parking on-site, 25 minute walk from train station) please note this is an in-office role.
