This firm continues as the FT's global research and content partner, which involves large-scale research into a broad array of topics from the latest business events and trends to new technologies and the future of work. They advise major law firms, in-house legal teams and other professional service firms on how to remain relevant and grow sustainably through training, thought-leadership and research.
Key responsibilities - Researcher
In this Research Assistant role in Legal Consulting, you'll be involved in:
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative research projects for clients, including interviewing, constructing methodologies, data analysis, writing final reports and creating visual presentations.
- Analysing and organising datasets.
- Project administration: including managing research data, updating contacts databases, scheduling interviews
- Client liaison: you will be expected to handle clients on projects and also front-line the business with the outside world.
- Supporting the company's marketing activities, social media strategies and other business development activities.
- Writing, subediting and proofreading for company publications.
- General administration, including maintaining the company's database and helping to keep company records and processes.
- Media monitoring, keeping abreast of current issues affecting the industry.
Job requirements - Graduate Research Assistant
For this Junior Research Assistant job, we are looking for:
- A 2:1 or above degree from university.
- Be independent, bold, lateral thinking and tech-savvy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to gather and analyse information effectively.
- Brilliant data and information analysis capabilities.
- Enjoy talking to people and be interested in business, innovation, technology, sustainability and geopolitical affairs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Have the ambition to take on and run whole projects themselves.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Right to work in the UK.
