Job description – Python Developer
We are seeking a dedicated Backend Python Developer who wants to learn from the best of the best in AI/ML. You will be helping to build the next generation of AI-based products and play a role in transforming the financial services industry.
 
This is a UK-based position, with one day per week required in London, with regular team meets & stand-ups to make sure you are supported and stimulated. Preferably, candidates should be based in or near London (or possibly Oxford) to participate in in-person meetings with the Tech Team.
 
Key responsibilities – Python Software Engineer

• Assist in the development of scalable and secure Python-based applications.
• Use Python, Docker, Flask, and PostgreSQL to build and manage web applications.
• Work with cloud technologies like Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Compute Engine.
• Collaborate with our research team to integrate AI models into production.
• Help identify and resolve issues related to application development and deployment.

 
Job requirements – Python Software Developer
Required:

• A first-class bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Commercial experience with Python, Docker, Flask, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Linux and modern software development tools like Git and CI.

Preferred:

• Interest in Machine Learning libraries and APIs such as PyTorch and GPT-4.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like GCP and AWS.
• Interest in DevOps technologies like GitLab CI and Ansible.
• Experience or coursework related to data-intensive applications.
