Key responsibilities - Graduate PR Account Executive
In this PR Account Executive job, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research for client projects.
- Writing succinct, on-message content in the form of press releases, client emails, bylines, blogs, and social media posts.
- Monitoring media coverage and social media channels to keep an eye on current trends within your clients' specialism.
- Building strong relationships with clients and media, maintaining client evaluation documents, and managing team diaries.
- Conducting research and analysis to support client activity and making further recommendations based on key insights.
- Assisting in planning for events, including liaison with venues and suppliers.
- Liaising with journalists, meeting external stakeholders, and identifying further coverage opportunities for your clients.
- Issuing press releases to the media on behalf of your clients.
- Contributing to and taking part in new business pitches, research projects, and marketing activities.
Job requirements - Junior PR Account Executive
- A graduate from university, ideally with a degree in a written-heavy subject.
- Prior experience in PR or a related field such as marketing is mandatory (3-6 months+) as you will need to hit the ground running!
- Enthusiasm for current affairs, news, and the media industry.
- Passionate communicator (written/verbal) with confident presentation skills.
