In this BI Analyst role, you will join a rapidly growing FinTech / financial services firm, which is looking to double over the next few years.
 
The financial umbrella group already owns 5 different businesses, and you will sit in the corporate head office. The company consists of two Foreign Exchange Brokerages, a Fintech hub, a Property Media Company, and a Luxury Property Brand. Their primary focus is to educate and assist individuals and businesses in managing their investment and purchasing risk.
 
Job description – Power BI Analyst
As a Power BI Analyst, you will play a crucial role working across departments in analysing data, identifying business opportunities, and helping to visualise success metrics.
 
You will work closely with various teams to establish business goals and develop dashboards which can be used. You will train non-technical members of the team on how to use these dashboards. Ultimately, the data you help to analyse will impact business strategic decision-making.
 
Key responsibilities - Power BI Analyst
In this PowerBI Analyst job in London, your responsibilities will include:
  • Business requirements and stakeholder management. Engaging across the business to understand reporting. requirements and KPIs, translating that into actionable dashboard specifications.
  • Dashboard design and development – Power BI dashboards specifically to tell compelling data stories.
  • Data analysis and visualisation to support business decision making.
  • User training and adoption: training internal users on how to effectively use and interpret dashboards. This includes training sessions and creating guides.
  • Cross-departmental communication and collaboration.
 
Job requirements – Power BI Analyst
  • High levels of knowledge of, and experience using, Power BI in a commercial setting (including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile).
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, BI analyst, product management, or a related field.
  • A 2.1 or above degree in a STEM or analytical field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in agile software development methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high-performing individual with a consistent track record of success.
