Overview - Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking an in-house proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to support the execution of Readyfix's marketing strategy at our Preston Head Office. This role involves managing digital content, coordinating promotional activities, and supporting cross-functional teams to enhance brand presence and customer engagement.

 

Key responsibilities - Marketing Assistant

  • Create engaging content for weekly email campaigns (e-shots).
  • Develop and schedule content for social media channels (minimum of 3 posts per week).
  • Maintain and regularly update the company’s LinkedIn page.
  • Manage the marketing calendar, including coordination of seasonal events and promotions (e.g., Easter giveaways, sporting events, Christmas campaigns, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop marketing material for new products, and coordinate with the team to produce leaflets and other printed marketing material.
  • Communicate regularly with sales representatives to gather updates on new legislation, site activities, and then creating relevant content for marketing use.
  • Liaise with purchasing to monitor promotional gift stock levels and provide feedback on customer preferences (e.g., branded sweets).
  • Work closely with the Sales and Customer Service teams to collect and utilize customer testimonials.
  • Coordinate with our media team to schedule product and site photography sessions, and assist in updating corporate videos.
  • Support the completion and design of the company catalogue in collaboration with the in-house team.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the company website, and work with our web developer to enhance the overall customer experience on the Readyfix platform.

 

Ideal candidate - Marketing Coordinator

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, a strong communicator, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. A keen eye for detail and a passion for branding and digital marketing are essential for success in this role.

This role's hours of work are 7.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Fri. At Readyfix Preston Head Office. Depending on experience, you can expect a salary between £27,500 - £32,500 with room for progression and annual salary increases!
