ABOUT THE ROLE
Pace is a HR Consultancy providing companies with Peace of Mind HR support that is dedicated, personable, and tailored to the organisations we work with. We partner with clients to provide them with the HR department they need, when they need it. The role of Junior HR Business Partner is integral to the dedicated team that it sits within, it is to act as an admin resource to the team and our client base growing into single handedly managing some of the businesses smaller clients and therefore giving integral advice.

As the site is not readily accessible by public transport, the role holder will be required to drive and must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a suitable vehicle.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
This role is a key team member for their specific team, reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner. Depending on the role holders experience, knowledge and skillset at any given time, plus client demands the scope will morph and change. Overall the role will involve:
- Providing HR admin support for our client base, with ad-hoc advice as you grow
- Supporting HRBPs and Senior HRBPs with the team client portfolio
- Exposure to the entire employee life cycle, from onboarding through to change management and tricky terminations
- Shadowing complex ER issues
- Administration support on all aspects of the employment lifecycle
- Ensuring that client folders are up to date, and maintained in an orderly manner
- If required maintaining our clients HRIS
- Supporting and sometimes leading on internal Pace project work and admin
- Handling client queries and escalating where appropriate
- Learning from colleagues, not just on the technical aspects of HR knowledge but how to take a consultative and advisory approach with clients
- Prioritising client care
- Supporting Pace’s growth through strategic commercial activities
- Staying up to date with employment law, changes in the market, keeping your knowledge up to date and in some cases feeding back
- To be a role model on giving back to the community and our environment in line with Pace policy and partnerships.

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 subject to experience
