Company profile - Literacy Tree

Literacy Tree has grown from a startup in 2012 to a leading edtech platform and education consultancy, specialising in creating a community for teachers to bring high-quality, diverse children’s literature to life in the classroom.

We provide high-quality resources, award-winning online training, and an app packed with tools for teachers and school leaders. Everything we create is based on what we know works in the classroom from our years of experience working in and with schools and our expertise in children’s literature.

We are passionate about what we do. All our resources are written in-house and are uncompromising on quality. From the books we carefully select, to the depth of detail in the resources and the technology that supports the platform, we spend time trying to get it right for teachers to save them time in the classroom. We have been finalists in, or won, many major industry awards, including BETT, ERA, Teach Primary, and GESS.

Based in Clerkenwell, Central London, our extremely committed team work hard to ensure schools have everything they need to teach a book-based approach. Our office-based team create resources and ensure the website and app are up-to-date, as well as providing the highest-quality customer service. Our consultants balance writing and running online training to our member schools, as well as delivering consultancy and INSETs in schools around the UK and in international settings.
