Job description - IT Support Engineer
In this IT Support Engineer job, you will be primarily focused on desktop support, with an emphasis on computer networks. You will support internal colleagues by troubleshooting and resolving issues. As a small team, you must be happy to take the lead on this and will need prior experience in doing so. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to support senior team members on development projects involving .NET coding.
 
Key responsibilities - Technical Support Engineer
In this IT Support Engineer job in London, your responsibilities will include:
 
Desktop support
  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshooting Windows OS, Office 365, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
  • Configuring and deploying new machines, patching systems, and managing inventory.
  • Managing user accounts via Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Supporting end-user applications and escalating issues when needed.
Development & automation with .NET
  • Assist in maintaining or enhancing internal ASP.NET apps.
  • Create User Interfaces in HTML/NET.
 
Job requirements - IT Technician
  • 2–4 years of desktop or technical support experience.
  • Proficient with Windows 10/11, Office 365, and remote support tools.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell and automation scripting.
  • Good to have SQL knowledge.
  • Knowledge of programming concepts.
