Job description - IT Support Analyst This Tech Support Analyst is a people facing role, ensuring the success of the IT infrastructure for the business. You will support your colleagues in updating technologies, resolving issues, and ensuring efficiency.
You will also spent much of your time on varied tech projects across the business, project managing things like implementation for example.
This is a fast growth graduate role which can see you be trained/develop into a range of different roles from engineering, technical project management, people management; depending on your personal career goals.
Key responsibilities – IT Engineer In this Tech Support Analyst role, your tasks will include: - Working on support to learn IT Infrastructure and needs as a business and ensure its success
- Supporting self-hosted services and systems:
- Troubleshooting performance issues and errors
- Suggesting improvements and fixes
- Maintaining and managing software delivery on 800+ Laptops and Virtual Machines
- Project days to grow and learn, given projects to complete and manage across the business
- Use of scripting languages to help build the management and orchestration of technical infrastructure
- Designing solutions from a set of requirements
Job requirements - Graduate IT Support - A STEM or technical degree graded 2:1 or above from a top-tier university.
- At least ABB at A-level, ideally in STEM subjects.
- Some work experience (i.e. internships) or experience of personal projects in the tech field.
- An interest in hardware would be beneficial.
- An understanding of some relevant technologies; Windows server, Linux server, infrastructure, Atlassian products (Jira, Bamboo, etc), Networking (Wireless WANS), Azure.
- Excellent communication skills.
