Job description - HR Analyst
As an HR Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the Compensation & Benefits function while contributing to wider HR operations. Working closely with senior members of the HR team, you'll analyse people data, support remuneration and benefits processes, develop reporting tools and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and improving processes. You'll gain exposure to compensation, payroll, learning and development, HR systems and regulatory reporting, making this an outstanding opportunity to launch a long-term career in Human Resources. The role is based in Central London, with hybrid working available (typically two days per week in the office).
Key responsibilities - HR Analyst
In this HR Analyst role, you will:
- Support annual compensation reviews, salary benchmarking and performance management processes.
- Analyse HR data including remuneration, benefits, headcount, equal pay and market benchmarking information.
- Produce reports, dashboards and presentations to support senior leadership and HR decision-making.
- Help administer employee benefits programmes, pension schemes and annual renewals.
- Support payroll processes through data validation, reporting and Total Reward Statement preparation.
- Develop Excel-based tools and automated solutions to improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and HR metrics reporting.
- Maintain HR systems, documentation and process guides, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support Learning & Development administration, including training platforms, professional study programmes and mandatory learning.
- Collaborate across the wider HR team to improve workflows, data management and employee experience.
- A 2:1 degree or above (or equivalent experience), ideally in a numerate or analytical discipline.
- An interest in developing a career within Human Resources.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
- Confidence working with large datasets and presenting meaningful insights.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and emerging technologies, including AI.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- An interest in employment law, compensation and benefits, HR systems and people analytics.
- CIPD qualifications or studies would be advantageous but are not essential.
- An excellent £40,000 starting salary
