In this Graduate Compliance Analyst role, you will be reporting to the Senior Compliance Officer whilst working closely alongside the CCO and General Counsel and business analysts. You will be both internal (liaising with UK and international colleagues) and client-facing, so good communication skills are important. The role will also require a keen eye for detail as you'll be responsible for compliance projects and implementing processes involving a significant degree of complexity. The ability to work in a close knit team and exercise discretion with sensitive information is also important.

Key responsibilities - Graduate Compliance Analyst  
In this Graduate Compliance Analyst job, your responsibilities will include:
  • Work with senior colleagues to update and implement a compliance monitoring system, in line with FCA and SEC regulatory requirements, as they embark on an enhancement project of existing systems and procedures.
  • Work with senior colleagues to update and implement mandatory policies, procedures, and processes throughout the company in accordance with applicable laws
  • Communicating with internal teams within the business to ensure compliance with policies and regulation
  • Maintenance of restricted securities lists
  • Periodic regulatory filings and investor reporting assistance
  • Maintenance of the various compliance logs
  • Perform AML/ KYC checks
  • Assisting with the periodic regulatory reviews that are required (SEC annual review, investment research review etc.)
  • Being guided and supervised by the Senior Compliance Officer in your work
Requirements
  • 2:1 or above from a top university, ideally in Law, Economics, Maths or relevant degree
  • Some experience in the financial services compliance (especially investment management) is beneficial but not essential
  • Proven track record of accurately implementing processes and owning process improvements
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to be a proactive and autonomous worker but also to work in a close knit team with senior colleagues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload to meet deadlines
  • Technical skillset a bonus but not required e.g. python, VBA, SQL, etc.
