Job Specification: Customer Success Executive

Ideal for a graduate or early-career candidate looking to build a career in media, account management and customer success.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive individual to join our client-facing team as a Customer Success Executive.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to start their career in the world of media, customer success, account management and data-driven communications. You will work closely with key clients, internal teams and experienced media professionals, helping to deliver a high-quality service across a portfolio of accounts.

The role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, is curious about the media landscape and is comfortable working with data, systems and analysis tools.

Key Responsibilities

You will support the management of a portfolio of key client accounts, helping to build strong relationships and ensure clients receive an excellent level of service.

Your duties will include:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for inbound client queries
  • Supporting the day-to-day management of key accounts
  • Building a strong understanding of each client’s needs, priorities and expectations
  • Being proactive with clients, identifying opportunities to support them and improve their experience
  • Developing an awareness of the media landscape, including news, current affairs and industry trends
  • Working with large volumes of data across media monitoring, analysis and reporting systems
  • Supporting the delivery of reports, updates and client communications
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered
  • Communicating confidently and professionally, both in writing and verbally
  • Helping to resolve issues quickly, calmly and accurately
  • Learning how media analysis, insight and account management work together to support clients

What We’re Looking For

We are not expecting you to have years of experience. More important is your attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Interested in media, news, communications or customer success
  • Confident speaking to people and building relationships
  • Comfortable writing emails and communicating clearly
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Proactive, with a desire to solve problems and support clients
  • Data-minded, with an interest in working with systems, reports and analysis tools
  • Curious about how businesses use media intelligence and insight
  • Keen to learn and develop within a professional office environment
  • Comfortable working as part of a team

Experience and Qualifications

This role would be suitable for:

  • A graduate looking to start a career in media, customer success or account management
  • Someone with early experience in customer service, administration, sales support, hospitality, retail or office work
  • Someone looking to move into a more client-facing business role

A degree is welcome but not essential. Strong communication skills, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are more important.

Development Opportunities

This role offers the chance to gain experience across several areas of the business. You will have the opportunity to work closely with different departments, including our Analysis and Insight team, who deliver media analysis projects across a range of clients and sectors.

You will learn how to manage client relationships, interpret data, understand media coverage and support the delivery of insight-led services.

For the right person, this role could develop into a career in:

  • Account Management
  • Customer Success
  • Media Analysis
  • Client Services
  • Insight and Reporting
  • Project Management
  • Communications and Media Intelligence

Working Environment

You will be based in our fantastic office on London’s South Bank, just three minutes from Blackfriars. The office offers stunning views, excellent facilities and a professional but friendly working environment.

Why Join Us?

This is a brilliant entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to get into a client-facing role and build a career in the media and communications industry.

You will be given support, training and exposure to experienced teams, while working with interesting clients, large datasets and real-world media insight.
