Job description – Business Development Representative
As a Graduate Business Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in growing the customer base. This is a rare opportunity to join at ground level and work directly with the company founders to build out the sales function.
You’ll be responsible for following up on generated leads, booking meetings and creating tailored outreach. You must be confident on the phone, responding to inbound leads and making outbound dials and want to attend client meetings.
Key responsibilities – Business Development Representative
- Reaching out to prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to qualify interest
- Booking meetings for the leadership team with warm, high-potential leads
- Supporting the sales pipeline and helping drive early-stage opportunities
- Researching potential customers and crafting tailored messaging
- Helping to shape our sales process, tools, and best practices
- Working closely with our founding team and learning tax tech from the ground up
Job requirements –Business Development Representative
The ideal candidate will be:
- 12 months commercial experience in a sales or client facing roles – outbound lead generation would really set your application apart!
- Top academics from university
- A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Curious, coachable and eager to learn
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable picking up the phone
- Motivated by ownership and excited by early-stage startup growth
