Job description - Business Development Manager
Using your knowledge of the UK-based food scene, your primary responsibility will be to proactively research, identify and approach new operator partners looking to operate our brands from their kitchens. You will need to build rapport with stakeholders and ultimately sell in the value of a partnership. You will then support these accounts through the onboarding and launch process, before working closely with the account management and culinary teams, to ensure their success and profitability as they move into your region.
Key responsibilities - Graduate Sales Executive In this Business Development Manager role, you will:
- Partake in comprehensive sales training: Learn and excel in lead generation, cold outreach, and pipeline management, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Identify and prospect leads within the hospitality sector
- Approaching these leads through cold-calling, field sales and email campaigns.
- Pipeline management, pitching and deal closure via face-to-face or virtual meetings.
- Account management - collaborating with account managers to ensure partner success
- A 2:1 degree from a top university.
- 1 year of sales or commercial experience in cold outreach and lead generation.
- Passion for the food and high-growth environment.
- A clear communicator with the client at the forefront of their mind.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be confident in building relationships with prospective clients.
- Organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritise effectively.
- Competitive base salary of £32,000 - £36,000 (DOE) + uncapped monthly commission.
- 4 days in office or field-based + 1 day remote.
