Job description - AI Operations and Business Analyst
 
In this AI Implementation Consultant role, you will be working across a variety of departments (including operations, trading, compliance, business development and investment) undertaking ad-hoc projects set and overseen by senior stakeholder.
 
These projects will see you utilising AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to complete business intelligence tasks, dashboarding, data analysis and low code development. To succeed in this role, you will need a genuine passion for pairing AI and finance, whilst being organised, autonomous and process driven.
 
Key responsibilities - AI Operations Consultant
In this Business Analyst job in London, your responsibilities will include:
  • Automating manual reporting and operational workflows via AI tool aided Python scripts or Power Automate flows.
  • Regularly utilising AI tools to complete business intelligence tasks, dashboarding, data analysis and low code development.
  • Building and maintaining data pipelines, cleaning datasets and structuring outputs in Excel or databases.
  • Producing market research, competitor analysis or sector briefing materials for Investment and Business Development teams.
  • Querying internal and external data sources using SQL and Python.
  • Identifying and fixing inefficiencies in information movement between systems and teams.
  • Working across all departments on ad-hoc projects, set and overseen by senior stakeholders.
Job requirements - AI Change Consultant
  • 2.1 or above in a STEM subject from a Russell Group university.
  • 3 months - 1 year's relevant commercial experience with demonstratable use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for process improvement.
  • Highly data literate.
  • Working proficiency in Python, SQL and Excel - you can write a script, run a query and build a model with ease.
  • Active, competent user of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) as part of your daily workflow.
  • Strong written and verbal communication - you will work closely with senior stakeholders daily.
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Able to function autonomously and implement self-initiative when dealing with ambiguous or loose briefs.
  • Enjoys troubleshooting, implementing change and independent working.
