Job description - Account Executive (Advertising)
In this Graduate Account Executive job in London, you will be joining an independent agency that offers fantastic opportunities for training and rapid progression. Your role will be incredibly varied, and tasks will include liaising with clients to deliver proposals, keeping up to date with industry news, and proactively dealing with any campaign issues that arise.
 
You'll need to have a flair for marketing and fantastic communication skills, as you will be expected to build and sustain strong relationships with a number of key clients, as well as help them with their marketing plans.
 
Key responsibilities - Account Executive (Healthcare Advertising)
In this Graduate Account Executive job, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the client services team to drive projects forward and deliver campaigns that exceed client expectations.
  • Developing budget estimates and timing plans for any new projects, and making sure projects are on track to be delivered on time and within budget.
  • Supporting the creative team with detailed research to support briefs.
  • Acting as a safe pair of hands to review creative work before it's shared with clients to make sure it meets the high Agency standards.
  • Working to build and sustain strong relationships with your clients and within the Agency.
  • Maintaining contact with clients and delivering regular project updates.
  • Dealing with any campaign issues.
  • Staying up to date with industry news.
  • Analysing and reporting on projects to gain insight into key trends.
 
  Job requirements - Graduate Account Executive
  • A 2.1 degree in a science-based subject from a university.
  • Master's degree or 1 year's industry experience in an Account Executive role (or similar).
  • A proven interest in client services and marketing.
  • A real interest in science and an interest in learning more about a continually evolving sector.
  • A great work ethic - you won't shy away from hard work and will strive to prove yourself!
  • Great organisational skills - you'll be able to prioritise tasks effectively to manage your workload.
  • A creative streak - you'll be someone who can think outside the box and bring great ideas to the table.
  • Commercial understanding - you'll need to be aware of how your work contributes to the overall profitability of the Agency.
