Vorboss is London’s next-generation fibre network, built to power the knowledge economy. Growing rapidly, their goal is to have an equitable, inclusive, and diverse workforce to represent their brand.
We first started working with Vorboss on their Graduate Engineer roles, and then came on as the official partner in their Female First initiative.
“Our Female First Initiative is a way for us to ensure our workforce is inclusive and gender-balanced right from the start. We want to do more to attract women into the industry and, in particular, into traditionally male-dominated roles. This is a chance for our industry to broaden its horizons and increase the diversity of its workforce in a way that it has been slow to do until now.”
Of the graduates we’ve placed in their Engineering Team so far, 56% have been female.
We achieved this gender balance for their rotational graduate scheme through targeted emails to specific segments of our database, as wellas advertisements on our job board.
This is far beyond the engineering industry average in the UK, where women only make up 7-19% of the workforce each year, over the past 5 years.
