The recruitment brief

Nomura approached us with a goal to diversify their teams, particularly in Investment Banking and Tech. Seeking to establish a fresh partnership, they evaluated multiple vendors before choosing our employer branding and job board services to amplify their outreach.

The solution

With Nomura’s budget in mind, we designed a multi-faceted campaign combining targeted emails, job board promotion, social media outreach, and a dedicated company page. This approach aimed to increase traffic, boost applications, and diversify the talent pool for traditionally male-dominated roles.

Targeted email & university connections

To support diversity in Investment Banking and Tech, we leveraged our connections with university societies like ‘Women in Business’ and ‘Women in Tech’. We also utilised optional pronoun data to target candidates on our database and ensure inclusivity.

  • Targeted emails, each sent to approximately 300 candidates and contacts.
  • 71.8% average open rate (well above the industry standard).
  • 37.4% average click rate.

Social media promotion

We shared content across LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook to maximise engagement. LinkedIn, in particular, played a key role in boosting visibility and interaction.

  • 17,788 total impressions (average 2,196 per post)
  • 2,461 total engagements (average 308 per post)
  • Best-performing post: 28.3% click-through rate

Job board & company page

Nomura’s roles were featured on our job board, complemented by a dedicated company page to enhance employer branding and drive additional engagement.
