Job description - Senior Recruitment Consultant
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will already have experience managing both the candidate and client side of recruitment. From the outset, you will have a lot of autonomy and will be tasked with sourcing new clients via your own business development initiatives and developing your candidate network.
 
As a 360 Recruitment Consultant, you are responsible for all stages of the recruitment life-cycle, from winning new business, to providing vetted candidate shortlists, managing the interview and offer process and long-term account development.
 
If you like the idea of managing and developing client relationships, helping graduates start their career, whilst learning the core skills to becoming a high-achieving sales professional, then this is a great opportunity for you. There is plenty of room for progression and you will have clear goals to hit in order to reach further promotions to Account Manager, Key Account Manager and beyond!
 
Key responsibilities - Senior Recruitment Consultant
Business Development
  • Identifying and researching new business prospects
  • Contacting prospective businesses via the phone, email, LinkedIn
  • Negotiating terms and fees including contingent and retainer models
  • Creating new strategies to source leads and engage new clients
Client & Candidate Management
  • Managing your portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive a fantastic recruitment service
  • Maximising your client accounts with top account management - including contacting your clients regularly to add value and share market insights, gaining external and internal referrals and checking in on your placed candidates (to name a few examples!)
  • Attending client meetings (virtual or in-person) to understand job briefs and create project plans
  • Writing job descriptions and working with the marketing team to ensure they are advertised and reach the right candidate audience
  • Sourcing suitable candidates (via the database, applications. LinkedIn and other job boards)
  • Managing your candidate applications and ensuring all candidates receive responses to their application
  • Managing the offer process and negotiating with candidates and clients as well as keeping track of invoice payments
  • Working to monthly and quarterly revenue / KPI targets and ensuring you are delivering on project deadlines.
  • Ensuring all CRM administration is up to date daily - our top revenue generators are both great communicators and exceptionally organised
  • Becoming an expert in your field and keeping tabs on industry hiring trends and news
 
Job requirements - Senior Recruitment Consultant
  • Proven track record of success in recruitment and business development- we are looking for someone who has prior experience and has evidence of hitting and exceeding targets
  • Commercial maturity - this role is heavily consultative. You will be working with candidates and helping them navigate the job market!
  • Top organisational skills - you will be managing your candidate and client base and need to be on-top of all administration that comes with it
  • A positive mindset and self-motivation – you’ll need to be competitive and money motivated, whilst being able to bounce back and adapt to rejections
  • Excellent time management and a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills - the ability to adapt and cope well with unexpected problems, to work through issues and around any objection
  • High level of empathy - showing empathy creates great relationships - showing you understand their unique challenges and perspectives

  • £30,000 - £32,000 DOE + commission
  • Hybrid working model; we will ensure you get set up with your own company laptop when you are required to work from home. You will work from home on Mondays & Fridays but will be required to be in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
