Job description - Research Assistant

Silver Economy are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join its growing team focused on analysing the Silver Economy - an exciting and rapidly evolving market driven by the ageing global population. You will work closely with me, assisting in the collection, analysis, and presentation of data and insights.

Please note: this is a part-time role (20hrs), and is mostly remote, meeting once a week for a full morning (4hrs) in central London.

Key responsibilities - Junior Research Assistant

In this Research Assistant job in London, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting detailed research on trends, innovations, and market developments within the Silver Economy.
Gathering, organising, and analysing quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources.
Assisting in the preparation of comprehensive market reports, segmentation analyses, and industry-specific insights.
Drafting and editing engaging articles, briefs, and summaries for our publications and online platforms.
Collaborating with the the founder to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality of reports and publications.
Staying updated on relevant industry news and developments to support ongoing research initiatives.

Job requirements - Research Assistant

For this Graduate Research Assistant job, Silver Economy are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Market Research, Sociology, or a related field.
Excellent research, analytical, and organisational skills.
Strong written communication skills, with experience writing reports or articles preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
