Job description - PR Account Executive 
As a PR Account Executive, no two days will look the same and you'll receive full training from the senior team to ensure that you can truly thrive in your role.
 
You will play a key role in curating and implementing the agency's PR and communications strategy, helping clients gain the right coverage in traditional and digital media, whilst proactively developing social media strategies.
 
Key responsibilities - PR Account Executive 
In this PR Account Executive job, your responsibilities will include: 
  • Confidently speaking with the media/clients, gaining coverage in the right press 
  • Carrying out industry and competitor research and keeping up to date with applicable market trends 
  • Using your creativity to write excellent content - press releases, social posts, articles, statements, and blogs 
  • Supporting the team with proactive media relations - contacting journalists and media to gain coverage in the right press 
  • Helping to prepare regular client reports and attending client meetings 
  • Engaging with and supporting the team working with influencer outreach 
  • Taking new project briefs and to review ongoing projects 
  • Supporting in proactive and reactive media engagement, including identifying new opportunities to promote clients and reacting quickly to news events
  • Helping develop and research news stories for clients & create brand awareness 
  • Undertake account admin tasks such as meeting notes, coverage trackers
 
Job requirements - PR Account Executive 
  • A 2.1 or above from university
  • Experience is not mandatory, as full training is provided, however relevant internships or placements are highly beneficial
  • Someone who has shown clear drive and ambition throughout their studies, such as involvement in societies, volunteering, part-time work, positions of responsibility, and extra projects
  • An interest in technology and developments within the industry is a must! 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great eye for detail and a self-starter who takes initiative 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines 
  • A team player who is able to effectively communicate with stakeholders of all levels
