Job description – Personal Shopping Assistant
In this Personal Shopping Assistant Assistant graduate job, you will be working with high end retail clients.
You will build and maintain relationships with clients as well as internal showrooms. You must be able to service multiple clients at any one time.
Key responsibilities – Personal Shopping Assistant
In this Personal Shopping Assistant job, your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to enquiries via email, telephone and in-person visits.
- Liaising with clients to source products that to fulfil their creative briefs.
- Create schemes for clients sourcing product and samples
- Keep yourself updated with all new products and collections offered by the company
- Requesting prices from showrooms and preparing quotes.
- Reserving stock and requesting pro-forma invoices from the showrooms/suppliers.
- Preparing and issuing invoices to clients.
- Recording all client communication
- Assisting in opening trade accounts with all new showrooms and ensure that we are receiving preferential trade prices with all showrooms.
- Organise shipping of samples and follow up with clients.
- Ensure the showroom/suite is kept tidy as all times.
- A degree from university, ideally a degree relating to textiles, interior design or a creative degree
- An interest in interior design, textiles, furniture or interior design
- Excellent communication and organisational skills both written and verbal
- Organised with good administrative skills
- Confident dealing with a range of luxury clientele
- Good computer skills (word, excel, PowerPoint and Sketch up is an advantage)
- Traditional Monday-Friday working hours, but some flexibility is required as you may occasionally do weekend work
