Job description - Operations Analyst
In this Database Administrator graduate role in London, you will be pivotal in supporting the internal operations of the business, specifically systems and database support. Your responsibilities will also include a range of analytical tasks, such as testing and implementing add-on modules to the internal database.

Key responsibilities - Operations Analyst
In this Database Analyst job in London, your responsibilities will include:
  • Inputting and reviewing data to the business database. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy of all data held and querying any anomalies.
  • Working closely with the software and becoming an in-house expert of the system – and will be able to share appropriate solutions to issues raised by system users.
  • Setting up and managing a dedicated email box to collate all user queries, ensuring that any urgent/outstanding issues are flagged promptly.
  • Helping to collate user requirements for new add-on modules – to ensure an ideal user experience.
  • Ensuring all support tickets are logged and raised with the system provider and chasing progress on solutions/fixes.
  • Working with members of the Operations team, using various sources of information, to ensure the system reflects live data (eg shipping dates, new customer orders, stock movements).
  • Working with members of the Operations team to generate regular reports.
 
Job requirements - Operations Analyst
For this Operations Analyst role, you will need:
  • A 2.1 from university, ideally in Economics or a STEM focussed subject.
  • You’re technically minded and an Excel whiz! You know your Pivot tables inside out.
  • Exceptional organisational and analytical abilities.
  • Top verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Happy to work in a fast-paced environment.
