Job description - Junior Digital Analyst This team is seeking a Junior Digital Analyst to join their pet-loving e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, problem-solving, and consumer behaviour, with strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
You should be detail-oriented and capable of communicating data-driven recommendations to support strategic decisions. Most of all, you should be eager to learn and progress in the role.
This role will work closely in supporting the Senior Digital Analyst and wider team in leveraging data to drive insights and optimize the company's digital performance across various platforms including Shopify, Google Analytics, Snowplow, Snowflake, and Tag Manager.
Key responsibilities – Junior Digital Analyst In this Junior Digital Analyst job in London, your key responsibilities will include: - Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using Looker to track key performance indicators and metrics.
- Utilize Google Analytics and Snowplow to monitor website traffic, user behaviour, and conversion rates.
- Analyze BI data from Snowflake using SQL or Python to uncover actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Strategic Insights & Optimization:
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance user experience and improve conversion rates on the Shopify platform.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to implement and test optimization strategies.
- Work with the UX team to conduct A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of changes.
- Tracking Maintenance:
- Work closely with the development team to implement tracking requirements for Snowplow or Google Tag Manager, and troubleshoot any data discrepancies for Snowplow.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all analytics platforms through regular audits and maintenance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Present findings and insights to senior leadership and other key stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on digital analytics, providing guidance and training to other team members as needed.
- Foster a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting best practices in data analysis and reporting.
Job Requirements – Junior Digital Analyst For this Junior Digital Analyst job in London, the ideal candidate will have: - An undergraduate degree in a STEM subject with a 2:1 classification or higher.
- Technical proficiency: previous exposure or experience in any programming or data analysis language (R, Python, Javascript, MatLab, etc.)
- Analytical skills: excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret big data sets and extract actionable insights.
