Their client base work with some of the UK’s most recognised household names and with an increased demand for their services they’re now looking to add to their internal Finance Team.

Job description – Junior Accountant
In this Junior Accountant role, you will be a key member of the group finance team which supports the global finance community and the wider business from a financial & systems point of view. The role will be highly detail orientated and ideally requires a candidate with a basic finance/ accountancy background – as you will be instrumental in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance department.

Key responsibilities – Junior Accountant
In this Junior Accountant job in London, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the administration and development of the newly implemented CRM
  • Supporting the Finance team with daily business tasks, such as: user administration, period maintenance, workflows, configuring month-end timetables etc.
  • Helping to resolve internal user queries and assisting with training on finance systems where required
  • Assisting in documentation and general admin
  • Helping identify process inefficiencies & implementing solutions
  • Assisting with data reconciliations
  • Keeping up to date with internal training and development
  • Providing ad hoc support to the department as and when is required

Job requirements - Junior Accountant

  • A degree in Finance or Accounting from a top 50 university
  • Ideally part qualified in ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Formulas), Knowledge of Power Query
  • Highly organised, focused, and disciplined with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
  • Self-motivated, taking the initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with technology, processes, and systems
