Job description - IT Support Administrator
In this IT Support Analyst role, you will collaborate with fellow members of the Systems Team to ensure the smooth running of the infrastructure.

You will work closely with people across the business to pre-empt problems with the infrastructure, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and implement solutions together. This role will focus on utilising your IT Service desk skills that you will have gained commercially or academically
 
Key responsibilities - IT Support Administrator
In this IT Support Analyst jobs, your responsibilities will include
  • Monitor the online call management software, processing emails and phone calls, assigning incidents to the correct team with the appropriate priority level.
  • Provide immediate assistance where appropriate eg password resets etc.
  • Ensure that business critical issues are dealt with in a timely manner by an appropriate member of the team.
  • Action incoming reports to ensure the integrity of the AS400 system and its data
  • Use information provided to proactively support users and provide advice and updates on current issues.
  • Prepare AS400 system access requests for actioning.
  • Streamlining support through automation and process improvements, in order for the business to be able to operate efficiently at scale
  • Administration of network infrastructure
 
Job requirements - IT Support Administrator
  • You will either come from a strong academic background in IT / Computing or have tangible, commercial experience in an End User Operations environment
  • You will be well versed with Linux, ideally with experience in advanced command-line functions beyond the user level
  • A real eagerness to learn and develop your skills in a start-up environment
  • Ideally, experience with configuration management
  • Working knowledge of IP networking is advantageous
  • Must be able to drive
