Job description – Insight Analyst
In this Business Analyst position within HealthTech, they are seeking a creative and inquisitive analyst to help uncover opportunities and trends in hospital spending data, to drive and develop insights for their 130+ NHS customers.
 
Here you will engage with their customers, proactively sharing new opportunities and providing them with new views of their data, helping to promote the company service/offering.
 
To be successful in this role you need to be curious, and analytical and thrive off working out what is required to deliver an output that will help the NHS to save money. It requires someone confident, motivated by data, enjoys solving problems and is invested in helping the NHS.
 
Key responsibilities – Insight Analyst
In this Remote Data Analyst job, your responsibilities will include:
 
Data analytics and core insights output
  • Develop bespoke customer analytics reports and define the narrative behind the analysis.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of customer requirements, whilst identifying additional support. information to improve the quality and benefit of the insights (outputs).
 
Insight development
  • Support the development of new client analysis.
  • Lead on the cleansing and improvement of existing category areas.
  • Create team process documents to explain outputs to others.
  • Take existing outputs and work with other teams to automate.
  • Show an interest in clinical category areas and take the time to research and understand them.
 
Customer engagement and relationship management
  • Respond to customer issues/needs as they arise through effective triaging and prioritisation of Insight requests.
  • Organise and participate in customer meetings to understand requirements and feedback around outputs.
  • Present outputs to customers and participate in customer review meetings.
  • Works with the external marketing team to assist in the writing and copywriting of newsletters and sales material.
 
Job requirements – Insight Analyst
For this Business Analyst job, we are looking for:
  • A degree from university (Health and STEM-related is a plus).
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role with a good understanding of data and have worked with large, complex data sets.
  • Excellent client/customer engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in creating analyses/outputs for clients and can confidently present these to clients.
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work independently and or with remote/distributed teams.
  • Always willing to learn and to try out new ways of working or thinking from others.
  • Thrive on working at pace and you value, and deliver high-quality work.
  • Be proficient in using Excel (Google Sheets) - formulas, pivot tables, vlookups.
