Job description – Head of Marketing
In this Head of Marketing role, you will drive the agency’s brand visibility, authority, and growth within the app marketing agency space. This role is focused on promoting the agency directly, spearheading the marketing department and taking imitative to innovation strategically lead growth marketing efforts.
 
The successful candidate will bring strategic and tactical marketing expertise to address key challenges, working collaboratively across functions to drive brand exposure and lead generation.
 
This role is great for someone with agency experience and digital marketing experience across strategy, managing an annual marketing budget of up to £250,000 to cover events management, SEO & content creation, CRM management, brand exposure and social media. You will also be responsible for managing a team.

  • Experience & Leadership: 3-5+ years in marketing roles, including 2+ years in senior positions within an agency (ideally focused on app or digital marketing).
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver results.
  • Strategic & Detail-Oriented: Capable of big-picture thinking but attentive to details, implementing creative, growth-driven marketing strategies.
  • Data-Driven: Skilled in using tools like SEMrush, GA4, HubSpot, and Search Console to guide strategic decisions and find growth opportunities.
  • Campaign & Event Management: Experienced in running successful marketing campaigns and event strategies that drive leads and strengthen brand presence.
  • Website & Conversion Optimisation: Solid background in SEO, UX, and improving website conversion rates through hands-on collaboration with technical teams.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong written English and verbal skills, with a natural ability to build relationships and communicate clearly with clients, partners, and teams.
  • Adaptable & Goal-Focused: Comfortable with direct communication, quick to adjust to shifting priorities, and motivated by ambitious goals.
  • Process-Minded: Able to define and implement effective processes, technologies, and skills for smooth delivery and long-term growth.
