Job description – Graduate Operations Analyst
In this Operations role, you will be integral to the running of a successful Hedge Fund.
 
You will be in a small team, working directly with the COO, which means you will take responsibilities across the board from trade processing, NAV capture and the development of a portfolio management system.
 
Because you’ll be involved with the development of the portfolio management system, you will need to be able to learn technical skills quickly; although prior technical expertise is not required.
 
Key responsibilities - Graduate Operations Analyst

• Trade capture and processing.
• Cash and positions reconciliation.
• Nav reconciliation.
• Cash management.
• In-house Portfolio Management System development.
• Overall fund administration.
• Supporting the COO.

 
Job requirements - Graduate Operations Analyst
For this Graduate Operations Analyst role, we are looking for:

• Ideally, you will have some middle office/operations experience within financial services through prior jobs or internships. 
• A minimum of 2.1 from university with a strong academic record.
• Strong numerical ability.
• Strong Excel skills. 
• Ability to pick up technical skills quickly. Prior technical knowledge is beneficial but not essential. The company codes in C# so you can learn this if you don’t already know it.
• Fantastic attention to detail, with the ability to keep many plates spinning at once.
